Privacy Policy

Lyntr ("Lyntr," "we," "us," or "our") provides a Chrome extension and related website services that help users find local businesses, save contacts, and manage follow-ups (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using Lyntr, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Account information. When you sign in (including with Google), we receive identifiers such as your name, email address, and profile photo, as provided by you or your identity provider.

Prospecting data. Content you save or generate while using the extension — for example business names, addresses, phone numbers, websites, notes, tags, and hunt or contact lists — is stored so the Service can sync and show it to you.

Usage and device data. We may collect technical information such as browser type, extension version, approximate location derived from IP, pages or features used, and diagnostic or error logs needed to operate and improve Lyntr.

Payment information. Paid plans are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Stripe may provide us with billing status, plan, and limited payment metadata needed to manage your subscription.

Communications. If you contact us (for example via our contact page or joseph@lyntr.co), we keep the information you send so we can respond.

We use information to:

• Provide, sync, and improve the Service
• Authenticate accounts and secure access
• Process subscriptions and send related billing notices
• Respond to support requests and communicate about the Service
• Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and debug issues
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your saved prospecting contacts to market to those businesses on our own behalf.

We rely on service providers that process data on our behalf, such as:

• Supabase for authentication and database hosting
• Google for sign-in (OAuth) when you choose Google login
• Stripe for payment processing
• Hosting and infrastructure providers for the website and APIs

The Chrome extension may read content from pages you choose to use it on (for example Google Maps) in order to extract businesses you are viewing. That content is processed to provide the features you trigger; it is not used to browse the web on your behalf when you are not using Lyntr.

Third parties have their own privacy policies. Google Maps and other sites you visit remain subject to those sites' terms and policies.

We retain account and Service data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. We may keep limited records after account closure for legitimate business purposes such as billing disputes, security, or legal compliance, then delete or anonymize them when no longer needed.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may update account details through the Service where available, sign out, or request deletion of your account by contacting us. You may also uninstall the Chrome extension at any time. Uninstalling does not automatically delete server-side account data; contact us if you want that removed.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email joseph@lyntr.co.

Lyntr is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. If you use Lyntr from elsewhere, you understand that your information may be transferred to jurisdictions with different data-protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
